Comparison to Paola Cantu: Salma Hayek is Mexico’s most well known actor (even more so than Bernel). After breaking through into Hollywood with Desperado, she went onto to take the lead role in Frida. The film about Frida Kahlo which was her dream role. Paolo Cantu has a long way to go to replacte this success, but it might just be in her grasp. She’s beautiful and charasmatic; two qualities that go very far in Hollywood.
