I’ve learned very little in my life, but this I know: working for money is for idiots. It took me years watching the boss of the company drive to work in his Merc around 10, have a two hour lunch and leave at 4 before I realised that the smart people don’t work for money, they build assets. Since I figured that out, I’ve been working towards building things that might not pay me straight away but will keep paying me over the long term.

Right now is a hugely exciting time on the web. It’s a huge opportunity for anyone who wants to establish themselves. Whatever you care about, there’s a chance to reach the top of your field if you’re willing to work hard and smart enough - without access to big money or high powered people. Opportunities like that are very rare.
